Eastern Partnership Digital Security Practitioners Network

Our work is focused on providing digital security support to civil society organizations and independent media.

Who are we

We are experienced digital security specialists from the Eastern Partnership countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine. Our work is focused on providing digital security support to civil society organizations and independent media.

The Network (full name is Eastern Partnership Digital Security Practitioners Network) was formally established in November 2024, but this formalization represented a result of long-standing informal cooperation within the regional digisec community lasting at least since 2018.

Why did we create the Network

Over the last years we are facing an increase in cyber-attacks and digital security challenges on civil society, human right defenders and media in our countries. Many high-risk organisations and individuals lack the capacity and resources to adequately respond to these challenges themselves and rely on critical support from local digisec service providers.

Main goal of the Network is to grow the local capacity of digital security providers through:

so that we can better assist human rights defenders, media, and CSOs at risk in our countries.

How to join the Network

We have certain values and approaches to our work. Trust among members is most valuable. We are not looking to grow in numbers, but in quality above all. We accept new members to the Network only through recommendation from existing members based on joint successful work collaboration.
So there is no “Join us” button, you can only be invited.
